Plant Supervisor (Extrusion)

JOB OBJECTIVE:Supervise 3 extrusion lines and 2 plastic butt fusion machines. Ensure production efficiency and economy by closely monitoring setups and process. Expert in thermoforming machinery and auxiliary equipment. Skilled in troubleshooting and corrective action during production. Preventive maintenance of all machines.DESCRIPTION:Plant SupervisionMachine Setup Oversight: Supervise the preparation of machinesprior to production, including raw material loading, adjustingmachine parameters, and ensuring adequate staffing.Machine Operation Monitoring: Monitor extrusion machinery toachieve set standards, SOPs, and desired output while maintainingproduct quality parameters.Quality Assurance: Inspect finished products to verify compliancewith quality standards and specifications. Promptly address anydefects or issues. Maintenance Management: Coordinate regular machinemaintenance, scheduling inspections of all electrical systems.Material Planning: Collaborate with Plant, Procurement, andPlanning personnel to manage raw materials and finished productseffectively.Safety Adherence: Strictly adhere to safety protocols to preventaccidents. Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)for self and team and promptly report any safety concerns to theHSE Engineer.Documentation Maintenance: Keep comprehensive records ofproduction activities, machine settings, and quality assessments. Complete necessary production reports.Effective Communication: Clear communication with operators, Production Incharge, and team members to ensure efficient production processes.
