About Us:
Pixie Wings is a new early learning nursery aiming at providing high-quality care and education for children aged 1-4 years, with focus on creating a supportive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
It is located in Elsheikh Zayed. Phase 1 to include 6 classes with outdoor area 200 sq. m. Expected soft opening to be in September 2025 with Phase 2 to follow with 5 classes and outdoor area of 200 sq. and offer French classes.
Along with the nursery week day working hours, we want to best utilize the venue via:
- Camps during School Holidays (Summer & Winter).
- Therapy sessions in the evening.
- After school activities (i.e. music, gymnastics, arts & crafts, Zumba).
Job Summary:
Pixie Wings classroom teacher will be working closely with the Director to plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs for children aged 1-4 years. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging and interactive lessons that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in children as per agreement with Director.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and well-organized classroom environment that encourages learning and exploration.
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences that meet the individual needs of children.
- Conduct regular formative and summative assessments to monitor student performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze assessment data to inform instruction and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Provide timely, constructive, and actionable feedback to parents on the children's academic work and progress.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, caregivers, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children at all times, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices and stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education.
- Support in organizing events, workshops, and activities to engage families and the community as per the Director’s request.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or experience in the nursery teaching field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching in a nursery or early childhood setting.
- Valid teaching certification or equivalent.
- English proficiency is a must.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
