Job Description
- Teaching and Learning:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities that support development across all domains (language, math, motor skills, creativity, social-emotional, etc.).
- Use a variety of instructional strategies including storytelling, songs, games, hands-on learning, and visual aids.
- Foster curiosity, creativity, and independence through play-based learning.
- Observe, assess, and document each child’s progress and adapt instruction as needed.
- Classroom Environment:
- Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging classroom that reflects the themes and learning goals.
- Ensure that materials and resources are well-organized and developmentally appropriate.
- Promote positive behavior management and help children develop social skills and emotional regulation.
Job Requirements
- Child Development and Care:Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or other early childhood certifications are an advantage.
- Experience:
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in a kindergarten or nursery setting.
- Experience with classroom management and early learning assessment tools.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Deep understanding of child development and early learning best practices.
- Warm, patient, and caring personality.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills.
- Creativity in designing learning activities and managing young children.
- Bilingual (Arabic and English) preferred, depending on school language policy.
- Basic computer literacy for documentation and reporting.
- Identify any developmental delays or behavioral issues and communicate concerns to parents and supervisors.
- Provide emotional support and encourage confidence, respect, and kindness.
- Parental Communication:
- Maintain regular communication with parents through meetings, reports, and informal updates.
- Organize parent-teacher conferences and share observations about each child's growth.
- Involve parents in classroom activities, events, and home-based extensions of learning.
- Professional Development and Teamwork:
- Work collaboratively with assistant teachers and staff.
- Participate in training, workshops, and staff meetings.
- Follow school policies, safety protocols, and reporting procedures.
