Job Description
Responsible for managing and organizing all purchasing operations for the company, including raw materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring quality, appropriate costs, and timely delivery
- Have a strong background in Food and Beverage industry, familiar with dessert market
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to achieve the best value for the company.
- Manage supplier relationships and develop strategic partnerships with key suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts and purchasing terms to ensure the best prices and conditions.
- Analyze the company's material and equipment needs in coordination with various departments.
- Manage the request for proposals process, evaluate offers, and select appropriate suppliers.
- Ensure all purchasing operations comply with company policies, laws, and regulations.
- Monitor and regularly evaluate supplier performance.
- Manage strategic inventory and ensure the availability of essential materials.
- Analyze market trends and raw material prices to anticipate changes and adjust purchasing strategies.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve purchasing efficiency and reduce costs.
- Prepare and manage the annual purchasing budget.
- Coordinate with the finance department to ensure invoice accuracy and payment processes.

- Ensure compliance with sustainability and social responsibility standards in purchasing operations.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective purchasing strategies.
