Job Description
- Performs the process of purchasing the required raw materials for the company from its various locations in accordance with the company's goals and considering the achievement of the required goals and quality within a specific time frame with complying with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Follows up purchase orders on daily basis, classifies them and sends the materials to be priced to suppliers.
- Reviews quotations for different materials and make sure that they technically match the required materials.
- Inspecting and evaluating the quality of purchased items and resolving shortcomings.
- Make a comparison between bids received from more than one supplier (3 - 5 bids or more) to reach the best offer.
- Preparing proposals, requesting quotes, and negotiating purchase terms and conditions.
- He issues supply orders to suppliers based on the purchase orders sent from the requesting side and sends them to the selected supplier to start supplying the required raw materials.
- Coordinates and follows up the supply in accordance with the company's time frame.
- Issuing the required reports and data to the direct manager periodically to save the information for easy reference.
- Preparing reports and maintaining accurate inventory and procurement records.
Job Requirements
- Experience in the water treatment industry is preferable
- Background in inventory is preferrable
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Skills of building good relationships with others
- Team player with strong organizational skills.
