Job Description
- Creating and developing architectural designs and construction plans for various projects.
- Conducting site visits and evaluating the feasibility of construction projects, considering zoning laws, building codes, and other regulations.
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and construction workers to ensure that projects are completed within the allocated time frame and budget.
- Preparing, reviewing, and analyzing project proposals and providing recommendations for improvements.
- Supervising and managing the work of draftsmen.
- Preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for projects.
- Ensuring that all construction documents meet safety standards and regulations.
- Ensuring that projects are completed in accordance with the client's requirements and expectations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in architecture, with a focus on construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques.
- Proficiency in design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, SketchUp, and 3D modeling software.
- excellent communication and problem-solving skills, highly organized, and could work well under pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
