Job Description
- Analyze security systems and seek improvements on a continuous basis.
- Report possible threats or software issues.
- Research weaknesses and find ways to counter them.
- Understand software, hardware, and internet needs while adjusting them according to the client’s business environment.
- Develop best practices and security standards for the clients.
- Test company software, firmware, and firewalls.
- Assist / Train client employees with cybersecurity software & hardware.
Job Requirements
- Excellent communication & business writing skills.
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems as they arise.
- An understanding of best practices and how to implement them at a business-wide level
- Certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, CEH, or CISM desired
- Knowledge of Fortinet & Logrythm products is a plus.
- At least 4 years of experience in the cybersecurity field.
- Public Trust security clearance, or a willingness to obtain one
- Basic coding skills, such as Python, Bash, and other relevant languages
