Job Description
- Procurement database creation and maintenance.
- Raw material & all production materials purchasing.
- Expedite purchasing of materials, equipment, and services when approved to meet production deadlines.
- Issue and review all foreign and local production& maintenance materials POs.
- Prepare all comparative data to facilitate final negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors and issue orders.
- Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms with suppliers.
- Sourcing for new materials suppliers.
- Periodically supplier and contractors evaluation.
- Submitting and follow-up claims and getting compensation if needed.
- Follow up on supplier payments according to the due dates with the finance department.
- Sourcing and dealing with row material transporting subcontractors.
- Research new products or vendors to reduce costs, and improve quality and delivery time.
- Continues enhancement of payment terms.
- Report all purchasing progress on a monthly and annual basis.
- SAP System Knowledge, or any ERP system
Job Requirements
- BSC in engineering or commerce.
- Manufacturing background
- Very good English
- Excellent Microsoft skills
- ERP system background, SAP is preferred
