Job Description

Receive, inspect and record all incoming materials and supplies (purchases or returns from sites)
- Ensure inventory records are accurate and up to date using appropriate software or manual systems.
- Maintain organized storage areas and ensure materials are labeled
- Monitor inventory levels and anticipate supply needs to prevent shortages.
- Coordinate with purchasing and construction teams to fulfill material requests in a timely manner.
- Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders to replenish inventory.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
- Dispose of old or damaged materials in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in storage areas.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed.
- Follow all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly and annual inventory reports
- Has a background in finishing materials and building materials
- Record and code materials (cost - quantity - pricing)
- Implement disbursement, return and addition authorizations
- Match the total inventory balance with the accounting records
- Verify the accuracy of all supplied materials by comparing the purchase invoice with the order and verifying the condition of the goods and materials
- Provide the accounts department with accurate information about the inventory and the available balance

Job Requirements

- Proven experience as a storekeeper or similar role in a construction company from 1 to 3 years.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proficient in using computers (MS Excel word/
- Good organizational and communication skills with all departments
- Ability to multitask
- Proficiency in using ERP programs
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
