Job Description
Job Title: MEP Quantity Surveyor
Department: Project Controls Department
Location: Riyadh
Reporting to: Contracts Manager
Job Summary:
The Quantities Surveyor - MEP holds the responsibility to supervise quantities and material management with a strong record of project risk evaluation, contractor dispute resolution, cost variation analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare plans, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation.
- Perform risk analysis evaluations.
- Carry out monthly valuations of work in progress, including forecasting of final costs.
- Prepare and monitor project cash flow forecasts.
- Measure, value, submit and negotiate contract variations.
- Provide advice to project team on commercial and contractual matters including reviewing and drafting of correspondence.
- Prepare, submit and negotiate project final accounts.
- Manage commercial vetting of sub-contractor tenders and contracts.
- Prepare and manage certification of subcontractor monthly valuations and final accounts.
- Ensure that business commercial processes are adhered to at project level.
- Assist in preparation and adherence to project purchasing targeting and costing budgets.
- Assist and supervise Site Quantities Surveyors in evaluation, reporting and KPIs
- Assists the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Contracts Manager in all related duties.
- The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields of study from an internationally recognized university.
- To be successful at this role, you should have not less than 10 years of experience in quantity surveying on large scale construction developments.
- Fluency in the English language is mandatory.
