Job Description
- Analyze and monitor fleet status regarding aging, usage and maintenance to decide whether to be out of service or to modify driver behavior.
- Oversee routine maintenance and Work closely with the maintenance team to find ways to reduce downtime due to repairs and to reduce maintenance costs
- Plan, process and execute vehicle purchase and vehicle replacement through efficient settlement.
- Set risk management system in terms of (breakdown, rubbery and accidents… etc) to ensure smooth work operations.
- Visit and meet current clients to ensure service satisfaction and maintain excellent relationship.
- Review and control truck and driver’s documents to avoid any penalties to maintain company right.
- Design and ensure inspection checklist of truck / driver to control and maintain company rights and customer satisfaction
- Control and ensure truck temperature monitoring to maintain pharmaceutical transportation standard
- Analyze fleet expenses / variable costs to ensure cost control and proper planning.
- Analyze productivity per truck versus revenue to ensure fully utilization.
- allocate and manage staff and resources according to changing needs
- Maintain and monitor Transportation management system to organize fleets as per various schedules and requests.
- Ensure fleet availability to meet all requests by scheduling, forecasting and surveying current user trends.
- Negotiates transportation services and rates with various carriers.
Job Requirements
- University degree, Supply chain management, Six Sigma, Logistics certificates are more preferable.
- Excellent experience in fleet management 6-9 years
- Good cost control and budgeting experience
- Excellent customer relationship management
- Familiar with GDP pharmaceutical standards
- Very good Negotiation & leadership skills
- Excellent Planning & Organizing skills
- Very Good User of MS office.
- Very Good English.
