Job Description
- Develop efficient driver schedules to maximize profits
- Manage drivers so they adhere to strict schedules
- Register and license all vehicles under their management
- Find ways to cut costs and maximize profits
- Develop strategies for greater fuel efficiency
- Maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection
- Supervising the preparation of vehicle movement supplies and drivers, and providing their supplies.
- Inspecting vehicles to ensure their suitability.
- Recording integrated data and information about the movement of cars and their locations.
- Coordinating with workshops to perform the necessary maintenance.
- Full responsibility for managing and directing car drivers.
- Managing direct dealings with other transport companies and working to provide external trucks if necessary.
- Supervising the issuance of fuel dispensing permits and their liquidation with the financial department.
- Supervising the performance of internal maintenance operations, which consists of completing the necessary periodic maintenance for all vehicles, including spare oils of all kinds, spare parts with a specific lifespan, and other forms of periodic maintenance, while supervising the performance of external maintenance operations to address sudden breakdowns of cars during the implementation of one of the work tasks.
- Follow up on the renewal of driving licenses for vehicles from the Traffic Department.
- Follow up and end everything related to accidents.
- Supervising truck speed monitoring operations and drivers’ compliance with driving instructions.
Job Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Fleet supervisor or similar role
- Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail to ensure records are kept as needed
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to work with various departments
- A bachelor’s degree in logistics or accounting is preferred
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Fleet supervisor
