Job Description
• Participate in activities for the new product design projects including:
• New features implementation and esthetical design.
• New product module implementation.
• Design, develop and modify components and finished assemblies.
• Construct 3D CAD models and create detailed drawings.
• Mastering robust design tools using (CAD, CAE, FMEA, DFMA, tolerances analysis etc.) to develop 2D, 3D CADs, prototypes.
• Ensure benchmarking of competitors products on: Technical / functional level & Cost Level.
• Construct and update BOM’s (Bill of Materials), ECN’s (Engineering Change Notices) and manage approval documentation in our systems according internal procedures.
• Supply all technical input for product literature, labels, technical manuals, etc.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical production is preferred).
• 1-3 years experience in Metal industries.
• Knowledge of the main manufacturing processes (metal stamping, injection molding,_).
• Good knowledge of mold & die design and manufacturing.
• CAD-knowledge (Sheet-Metal is a Plus) (Solidworks Preferred).
• CAE-knowledge.
• Experience in Design for Assembly and Manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge about Quality tools (LEAN Manufacturing, Six Sigma, FMEA, PSRA, …).
• Knowledge of approval and environmental rules in different countries.
• Builds productive relationships within and outside of own team.
• Fluent English both written and spoken.
• Progressive analytical and systematic approach to problem solving.
• Good presentation skills.
