JOB BRIEF
I&C Engineer is responsible for supporting on-stream process analyzer instrumentation systems, including design, concept, engineering/specification/calculation, integration, installation, and maintenance.
KEY ACTIVITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Reporting to the Team Lead – Technical Support and customer contact.
- Capable of handling and troubleshooting sampling systems for Gas & Liquid analyzers.
- Support End-user for Analytical Instrument Maintenance, On-Site commissioning, and Start-up Support. On-site Emergency, Scheduled Maintenance and Troubleshooting support.
- Monitor, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain process analyzers (chromatographs, CGA, specialty analyzers, etc),Gas analyzers, Liquid analyzers, Field Instruments, and related solution.
- Carry out FAT and SAT for the analytical package in Our Workshop and at various end-user sites.
- Technical hands-on training on various analyzers systems used.
- Assist in troubleshooting analyzers and analyzer sample systems.
- Coordinate with customer / Panatix Application engineers on analytical technical issues.
- Adhering to the customer Schedule & Quality Plan.
- Preparation of required documents for Preventive Maintenance, troubleshooting procedures, etc.
- Technical Support to the Service Sales team for analyzer business expansion.
- Able to interpret, recommend and implement analyzer engineering design changes. Able to understand and configure analyzer network.
- Depending on business requirements, role can be on-shore or off-shore, short duration or long duration (e.g. resident site support engineer)

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical /Electrical Engineering/ Instrument, Control, Electronics & Communications Engineering, with 0-3 years of industrial experience
- Knowledge of Industrial chemical production units and operations and awareness of surroundings from a safety and environmental point of view.
- Ability to work with people at different levels of management, at different levels of engineering and design, and
- with internal customers and suppliers of Process Control Technology materials and construction services.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in written and verbal form, to instruct others in technical matters, and obtain cooperation from various personnel.
- Ability to speak, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Proficient in using computers, i.e. MS Office, CMMS, ERP, etc.
