Job Description
Job Overview: The Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 Technical Consultant will be responsible for the technical design, development, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 solutions. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and development teams to deliver high-quality ERP solutions that meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design and Development: Design, develop, and customize Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 solutions to meet business needs.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical leadership and guidance on Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 best practices and methodologies.
- Integration: Develop and implement integrations between Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 and other systems.
- Customization: Customize forms, reports, workflows, and other components of Microsoft Dynamics AX/365.
- Data Migration: Plan and execute data migration tasks from legacy systems to Microsoft Dynamics AX/365.
- Testing and Deployment: Conduct unit testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and manage deployment processes.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for customizations, configurations, and integrations.
- Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 issues.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with functional consultants and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 technical consulting.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in X++, .NET, C#, and SQL Server.
- Experience with Dynamics AX/365 development tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of integration tools and techniques, including web services and APIs.
- Familiarity with data migration tools and processes.
- Strong understanding of Dynamics AX/365 architecture and modules.
- Certifications: Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 certifications are preferred.
