Job Description
- Strategically plan and manage warehouse Logistics & Distribution.
- Oversee the daily operations of products outbound, including maintaining contractor schedules, monitoring routes, reports.
- Plan routes and process shipments.
- Manage the dispatch of products and resolve issues throughout the day.
- Direct, optimize and coordinate the full order cycle.
- Responsible for selecting suppliers and negotiating contracts to ensure competitiveness in the marketplace.
- Keep track of quality , delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Supervise, coach and train Distribution & Fleet workforce.
- Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements .
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
- Anticipate workload in the area of fulfillment operations and accordingly advise on appropriate team structures for optimum efficiency and utilization.
- Ensure that all goods are delivered to the customers accurately and in the best possible packing and quality.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain or Engineering.
- Proven working experience in a related field for 5+ years (Business Consulting, Operations, Marketplace Management, Logistics, Last-Mile Delivery).
- Excellent team management skills specifically with Fulfillment teams.
- Dynamic and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills.
- Fluent command of the English language.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office package.
- Supply chain/Logistics certificate is a plus.
