Job Description
- strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
- Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
- Prepare annual budget
- Plan daily work, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
- Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals
- Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory
- Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and ensuring they are understood and practiced by the team at all times
- Manage and organize the time of warehouse workers and provide training.
- Develop plans for warehouses and merchandise locations.
- Optimize the utilization of available space in warehouses.
- Manage inventory control using various data storage programs.
- Prepare the annual budget and communicate with customers, suppliers, and transportation companies.
- Prepare a business plan, assign tasks appropriately, and evaluate results.
- Supervise the selection and hiring of competent staff and provide appropriate training and motivation.
- Prepare reports and statistics regularly, such as entry and exit reports and reports on available quantities.
- Collaborating with the Quality Department and monitoring quality feedback.
