Senior Security Engineer – NGFW, EDR, NDR

Job Summary: We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Engineer specializing in Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and Network Detection and Response (NDR). The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing advanced security solutions. As a Senior Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in securing our organization's digital assets and infrastructure against evolving cyber threats.Responsibilities: NGFW Design and Implementation:Lead the design, implementation, and management of Next-Generation Firewall solutions to safeguard network infrastructure. Ensure NGFW configurations align with security policies, industry best practices, and regulatory compliance. EDR Deployment and Management:Architect and deploy Endpoint Detection and Response solutions to proactively identify and respond to advanced threats targeting endpoints. Collaborate with endpoint security teams to optimize EDR policies and configurations. NDR Integration and Operation:Implement and manage Network Detection and Response solutions to detect and mitigate advanced threats within the network. Work closely with network teams to integrate NDR technologies seamlessly into the existing infrastructure. Security Operations and Incident Response:Monitor security alerts and incidents generated by NGFW, EDR, and NDR solutions. Lead and participate in incident response activities, conducting investigations and implementing remediation measures. Threat Intelligence Integration:Integrate threat intelligence feeds into NGFW, EDR, and NDR systems to enhance proactive threat detection capabilities. Stay abreast of emerging threats and vulnerabilities to adjust security strategies accordingly. Security Policy and Compliance:Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures related to NGFW, EDR, and NDR. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational security standards. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, and vendor-specific certifications (e.g., Palo Alto Networks PCNSE, CrowdStrike Falcon) are highly desirable. Proven experience as a Security Engineer with a focus on NGFW, EDR, and NDR technologies. In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, attack vectors, and defense strategies. Hands-on experience with NGFW platforms (e.g., Palo Alto Networks, Cisco Firepower), EDR solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, Carbon Black), and NDR technologies. Strong understanding of network protocols, security architecture, and threat landscapes.
