Job Description
- Design and implement the ETL-process. Main source systems: SAP ECC and SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer.
- Gather, translate and implement the business needs into the data warehouse
- Assist in optimizing the frontend tools.
- Designing solutions for an enterprise data warehouse built using SAP BW and SAP HANA
- Providing expertise and advice on potential enterprise data warehouse solutions and designs that are pragmatic, robust and supportable
- Converting ad hoc and proof of concept solutions/models into a production ready solution in SAP BW and SAP HANA
- Staying updated with the latest BI and Information Management technology, product offerings, trends and ensuring the organization’s strategy and roadmap is aligned
- Working collaboratively with other BI and Information Management specialists to mentor and enhance knowledge & capability across delivery and support teams
- Design and develop BW data models & data flow objects in SAP BW on HANA and non-HANA
- Design and develop complex BEx queries to meet reporting requirements
- Adopt data modeling & data flow design best practices to develop robust & scalable solutions.
- Configure and install SAP BW Business Content
- Optimize reporting and data load performance through Query monitoring tool, Aggregates, Indexes, InfoCube Compression, InfoCube Partitioning and Statistics.
- Be on the forefront of learning and development by continuously acquiring and upgrading competencies in SAP BI
- Evaluate new SAP BI technologies by building proof of concepts and demonstrations
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with SAP BW and SAP related frontend tools
- Extensive knowledge of BW Data Modelling
- Fair knowledge in ABAP
- Knowledge of SAP BI content
- Strong SQL Scripting skills
- Proven experience with design and architecture of enterprise wide Data Warehouse environments
- Proven experience with data modelling at a conceptual and physical level
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in SAP Analytics Cloud is preferred
- Architectural experience or skills are a plus
- A proactive team player that is able to communicate on all required levels
- Good command of written and spoken English.
