Job Purpose:
The Marketplace Coordinator is responsible for managing, and maintaining accurate, engaging, and compliant product content across multiple e-commerce platforms, including Amazon Seller Central, Jumia Seller Center, and Noon Seller Lab. This role ensures that product listings are optimized, error-free, and aligned with platform-specific guidelines to drive sales and improve the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Input and manage product data including titles, descriptions, specifications, pricing, and SKUs into backend systems (Amazon, Jumia, Noon, etc.).
- Format and write clear, concise, and compelling product descriptions in accordance with platform best practices and SEO guidelines.
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity by cross-verifying information and rectifying discrepancies.
- Organize product information and perform data cleaning and management using Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, formulas).
- Upload and manage product images and media assets, ensuring they meet platform specifications.
- Update and maintain live product listings based on inventory changes, promotions, or new product details.
- Conduct regular audits of product listings to ensure compliance with platform policies.
- Coordinate with the content, design, and e-commerce teams to ensure timely listing and updates of products.
- Stay informed of updates and listing standards across various e-commerce platforms.
- Troubleshoot content-related issues and escalate technical problems as necessary.
Job Requirements
- Excellent command of the English language (both written and verbal) is mandatory. You
should be able to understand and interpret product information accurately and write clear,
concise descriptions. - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. You should be comfortable with data entry,
formatting, sorting, filtering, and basic formula usage. - High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Basic understanding of e-commerce principles and online product listings is a plus.
- Familiarity with the backend systems of Amazon Seller Central, Jumia Seller Center, and/or
Noon Seller Lab is a significant advantage. - Ability to learn new software and online platforms quickly.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
