Job Description
- Communicate with suppliers, negotiate raw materials prices, and update prices, negotiate to get the best price and the best payment terms.
- Negotiate contracts, prices, and payment terms with vendors
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements
- Track and report on the status of orders and deliveries
- Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Maintain and update records of procurement activities and supplier information
- Stay updated on market conditions and industry trends
Job Requirements
-5-10 years proven experience as a procurement specialist or a similar role in real estate and construction
- Knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and best practices
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software
- A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
- Certification in procurement or contract management is a plus.
