Job Description
- Researching and identifying prospective suppliers.
- Liaising with internal project teams and maintaining strong supplier relations.
- Evaluating products and suppliers according to key business criteria.
- Preparing proposals, requesting quotes, and negotiating purchase terms and conditions.
- Preparing and issuing purchase orders and agreements.
- Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues and concerns.
- Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings
- Tracking stock in the inventory and restocking the items as and when required.
- Updating the order details in the internal database.
- Staying up to date with the latest trends in Technology.
- Prepare Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and send them to vendors, partners, or distributors.
- Assist in the procurement process from requisition to purchase order issuance.
- Ensure timely delivery of products and services to meet project timelines and requirements.
- Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues and concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance.
- Ensure that the BOM includes all necessary components, quantities, and specifications required for project completion.
- Implementing effective and transparent communication internally, externally and between different units and centers
- Maintain accurate and detailed Bills of Materials (BOM) for all procurement activities, and collaborate with engineering and project management teams to update BOMs as project requirements change.
- Select suppliers that offer the best value for the required goods and services.
- Assist in drafting and finalizing contracts with selected suppliers, ensuring that all terms, pricing, and BOM details are clearly defined.
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and operations teams to understand requirements and specifications.
- Provide support in the selection of products and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers of goods and services.
- Conduct research on suppliers and vendors of goods and services.
- Receive purchasing requests from sales team and create price offers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers, vendors and develop new partnerships.
- Conduct market trend and pricing analysis to contribute to making informed purchasing decisions.
- Implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining quality and service levels.
- Assist in evaluating supplier quotes and proposals based on price, quality, delivery time, and compliance with specifications.
- Prepare and deliver semiannual presentations that highlight key achievements, performance metrics and areas for improvement.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the procurement function, staying up-to-date of industry trends and market conditions.
- Provide recommendation new products, services, or materials in keeping with industry trends
- Assist in negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure favorable conditions.
Job Requirements
Minimum Knowledges.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, logistics, business administration, transportation, engineering, or relevant degree.
- 1-3 years of experience in the same industry.
- Experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management
Minimum Skills.
