Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to lead and manage our online travel project. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management and a deep understanding of the travel industry, including trends in online travel booking, user experience, and digital marketing. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget, ensuring that project goals align with our strategic objectives.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Define project objectives, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure that project milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time and to specification.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, marketers, and content creators.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members.
- Organize and lead project meetings, including kickoff meetings, status updates, and review sessions.
- Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address any issues or concerns.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure that project deliverables align with their needs and goals.
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards and adhere to industry best practices.
- Conduct regular reviews and testing to validate the functionality and usability of online travel solutions.
- Prepare and present project reports, including progress updates, financial summaries, and performance metrics.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, and risk logs.
- Evaluate project outcomes and gather feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement best practices and lessons learned to enhance future project performance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Information Technology, Travel and Tourism, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 4: 15 years of experience in project management, MUST in the online travel or e-commerce sector.
- Must have experience in Gulf or Saudi market
- Proven experience managing complex projects with cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of online travel industry trends and technologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Jira, Trello).
- Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
