Job Description
This is an outsourcing consulting job opportunity for a Big enterprise in Egypt:
4 hours/day – 20 hours/week - Central European Time (CET) – 5 days a week - Monday to Friday.
- Lead and manage process improvement initiatives from concept through implementation to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Utilize data science and operations research methodologies to analyze complex data sets and identify opportunities for process optimization.
- Apply advanced data analytics and optimization techniques to develop and implement solutions that address business challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and execute process improvement projects.
- Lead technical teams in the design, development, and deployment of software solutions that support process improvement efforts.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the success of process improvement initiatives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by providing training, mentorship, and support to team members.
- Communicate project progress, findings, and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders (mainly C-Level).
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in process improvement, data science, and operations research.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related fields.
- Master degree in Business (MBA).
- PhD. in Data Science, Operations Research, or related field.
- Extensive experience in data science, operations research, and data analytics.
• Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing complex projects.
• Strong expertise in applying optimization techniques to solve business problems.
• Proficiency in software engineering and experience with relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
• More than three years’ experience in leading technical projects in process optimization related fields.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Background:
• PhD in Data Science, Operations Research, or related field.
• MBA degree.
Experience:
