Job Description
- Ensure transparent, timely, and efficient implementation of all field-based activities and provide a channel for questions and feedback from the communities, directly deal with the beneficiaries and ensure access to the services to beneficiaries.
- Internal & External Communication Relations:
Coordinate with the project governorate supervisor and project manager on the area action plans. - Develop and maintain good relationships and lines of communication with beneficiaries, local partners, and communities, explaining the nature of the project and liaising with them throughout the project.
- Project Implementation
- Identifying key outreach locations for the different nationalities of Refugees and Egyptians.
- Seek participation from the community.
- Make contact with local community leaders, identified youth, community groups, and other informal networks.
- Hold meetings and organize events with community leaders, and youth in collaboration with local leaders.
- Reach local institutions, parents, and community members to build an understanding of key project intent and activities.
- Promote discussion and understanding of the needs and priorities of different target groups and invite participants.
- Develop outreach publications/material as needed.
- Arrange with participants the ways that facilitate their attendance and commitment
- Propose creative ideas for using the place for additional courses or activities based on needs or beneficiaries and possibilities of more creativity or added value
- Coordinate with Coursera if necessary
- Supporting the program teams as necessary.
- Reporting, documentation, and budgeting
- Responsible for project documentation.
- Establishing and maintaining the project’s information management system and archive.
Job Requirements
Education / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Development, Political Science, and related
studies
- Experience: - At least 1-3 years of previous relevant experience
- Sensitivity to the needs of vulnerable individuals
- Demonstrated community outreach experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with highly vulnerable groups
- Awareness of the security context and political situation in Egypt for refugees
- Able to work effectively within a team and/or individually
- Well organized with strong time-management skills
- Ability to work under pressure
Desirable:
- Previous experience working with refugees.
- Previous experience working in a place that provides training.
- Languages: Proficiency in Arabic and English, written and spoken is a must.
IT Knowledge: - Excellent Computer literacy (software & hardware).
- Excellent in dealing with e-learning platforms.
- Skilled in MS Office package.
