Job Description
- Creating schedules or plans for the production department to ensure all production targets are met.
- Setting production KPI’s for measuring the success of a production plant. Production planning managers set these KPIs and ensure they are met.
- Monitoring production processes to identify any inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Forecasting production needs: By analyzing historical data, forecast future production needs and plan accordingly
- Managing inventory for all materials and finished goods and ensure the company has enough stock at any given moment
Job Requirements
- Production Engineer Bachelor holder
- Good knowledge in Engineering Drawings
- Experience in Manufacturing industry
- Proven experience working as a production planner.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) accreditation or other relevant certification is advantageous.
