Job Description
- Providing health and wellness programs for employees.
- Conducting workplace assessments and risk evaluations.
- Managing occupational health records and compliance.
- Offering first aid and emergency care as needed.
- Monitor and replenish drugs to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Ensure fitness for work of all employees.
- Implement and maintain an Employee Wellbeing Program which includes health promotion awareness and Stress Management.
- Reporting and investigation of Occupational Health Injuries or Illnesses.
- Provide ante-natal care for employees and advise the business appropriately for planning purposes.
Job Requirements
- Proven working experience as Occupational Health Nurse 3 years at least.
- B.Sc in Nursing.
- Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of occupational therapy.
- Hands-on experience with computer programs and creative media
- Familiarity with ADLs evaluation tools ( e.g. Katz ADL scale, Lawton IADL scale)
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
- Current knowledge of treatment practices per discipline and drive to continually learn and grow in the profession
- NEBOSH certified is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Sound knowledge on general administration.
- Good Command of English Language.
