Develop processes and procedures to ensure that there is continuous improvement in all company operations and that waste is kept to a minimum.
Monitor performance of Quality Management System (QMS) regularly to confirm its effectiveness and efficiency and ensure all the departments are updated with the amended processes, forms, and procedures.
Develop quality targets and measures for all company’s operations and monitor the performance of the company against these.
Provide advice and guidance to the company, its managers, and staff on any regulatory aspects of total quality management.
Investigate the quality requirements technically in the tendering phase, and present required data accordingly.
Identify quality problems and areas for improvement, recommend solutions, and follow up on corrective implementations.
Assist and supervise the QC Team in sites to develop strong quality profile and to perform root cause analysis to identify, solve and prevent major problems.
Assess new testing and sampling methodologies or technologies to determine usefulness.
Present to the management semi-annual summary with analysis on the quality activities performed, in terms of audit findings, actions proposed, and corrective implementation.
Coordinate the quality information and alignment between the sites and the company and supervise internal audits at the head office and projects periodically, to ensure compliance of quality procedures and standards.
Administer the external audit cycle, take recommendations, and follow up on implementation.
Job Requirements
- Job Requirements
Bachelor degree in Engineering or Science – metallurgy is a must.
10 years of professional experience in QC, including 5 years at least in Steel Industry.
Steel or Metal Experience is a Must.
Very Good Communication and leadership skills.
Very good written and spoken English language.
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
