Job Summary:

The Quality Control (QC) Chemist is responsible for performing laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet established standards and specifications. The QC Chemist ensures product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements, utilizing a range of analytical techniques and instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct chemical and physical analyses on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
• Perform routine and non-routine testing using different instruments 
• Interpret test results and compare them to established specifications and control limits.
• Document all laboratory work clearly and accurately in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Investigate and report deviations or non-conforming results.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards, including GMP, ISO, or FDA regulations.
• Participate in method development and method validation, if required.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of lab supplies and reagents.
• Collaborate with production and R&D teams to resolve quality-related issues.
