Job Description
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to work for a Design Firm, that specializes in designing a residential building, commercial buildings and villas.
- The Candidate will be responsible to design the Electrical system for these kinds of buildings using the code followed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Main Job Duties :
- Design of various Electrical systems (Lighting, small power, cable routing, earthing and lightning protection, load schedules, single line diagrams, Light current systems , fire alarm, Access, BMS, CCTV, ICT & PAVA System etc.) for various types of building , Perform design calculations for various Electrical systems, Prepare the project drawings, list of drawings, BOQ .. etc, Ensure electrical systems design compliance with the applicable Standards, Regulations and best practice.

An electrical site engineer’s role is vital to a construction project: they have a number of responsibilities including solving technical issues, providing advice, management and preparing reports.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable University.
- 8-10 years of experience of Electrical systems (design+ supervision) for projects in KSA.
- Excellent knowledge of local and international regulations (BS 7671, Saudi Building Code, Saudi Electricity Company Regulations, etc.).
- Excellent command of design tools and software (CAD, Revit, Navisworks, Dialux, ETAP, etc.).
- Ability to perform design value engineering.
- Excellent knowledge of the products in the market and latest trends.
- Managing electrical parts of construction projects.
- Overseeing electrical work.
- Undertaking surveys.
- Setting out sites and organizing facilities.
- Making sure budgets, timescales and project specifications are met.
- Supervising contracted electrical staff.
- Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to electrical design specifications and safety.
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff.
- Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings.
