To Lead the successful delivery of Science across the School.
Provide regular reports on student performance based on internal assessment data as well as externally verified examination results and to plan effective interventions as appropriate. Create a dynamic research environment for both teachers and students.
Create and exploit new opportunities for knowledge transfer activity to explore new areas of teaching strategies.
Act as a role model to others, demonstrating high standards of professionalism in all aspects of leadership.
Ensure the effective, consistent use of school systems, tracking, interventions, reporting and communicating with colleagues, parents and other key stakeholders.
Keep up-to-date about Science development for this department, and share it with other staff where appropriate.

Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or other related fields of study. Master’s degree or Postgraduate
Teaching experience in Science or any related subjects.
At least 6 years experience as a teacher and at least 3 years in the HOD position.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
