Job Description
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards specific to nonwoven or plastic film production.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Analyze quality control test results and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer specifications.
- Train production staff on quality control processes and best practices.
- Investigate and address customer complaints related to product quality.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
- Prepare and present quality reports to management and other stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Control, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in quality control within the nonwoven or plastic film industry.
- Knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma).
- Proficiency in quality control software and tools (e.g., SPC, Minitab).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in quality control (e.g., CQE, CQA) is a plus.
