Job Description

Will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the social media strategy of an organization to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and drive engagement. 

  • Key Responsibilities & JDs:

1. Strategy Development:

   - Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive social media strategy.

   - Align social media strategies with the overall marketing and business goals.

   - Stay updated with social media trends, tools, and best practices.

2. Content Creation and Management:

   - Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written, and audio/podcast).

   - Oversee the design and implementation of social media campaigns.

   - Ensure brand consistency in tone, voice, and terminology across all social media platforms.

3. Community Management:

   - Manage and engage with the social media community, responding to comments, questions, and messages in a timely manner.

   - Foster relationships with key influencers and industry stakeholders.

   - Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews.

4. Analytics and Reporting:

   - Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics.

   - Use data to optimize content and strategy for improved performance.

   - Provide actionable insights to inform marketing decisions and strategies.

5. Collaboration and Leadership:

   - Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, PR, and customer service, to ensure cohesive messaging and brand alignment.

   - Mentor and guide junior team members and interns.

   - Collaborate with external partners, such as influencers, agencies, and vendors.

6. Advertising and Campaign Management:

   - Plan and execute paid social media campaigns.

   - Manage budget allocations for social media advertising.

   - Optimize campaigns based on performance metrics and return on investment (ROI).

Job Requirements

  • Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

- Several years of experience in social media management, with a proven track record of successful campaigns.

- Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and related tools 

- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social media data and analytics.

- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

- Knowledge of SEO, web traffic metrics, and online marketing.

- Experience with social media advertising and campaign management.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

- Advanced certifications in social media management or digital marketing.

- Experience with video production and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).

- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and web development basics.

This role often requires adaptability, creativity, and the ability to stay ahead in the ever-evolving social media landscape.
