Job Description
Summary: Build the infrastructure and API services for an eCommerce Platform.
- Help build a state-of-the-art location-based logistics and eCommerce platform and application stack
- Work closely with the design team & product management to create an application stack that can scale to handle large volumes of traffic
- Write production-level code for all layers of application stack
- Drive the direction of the product by being an early member of a growing team
- Build a reliable service platform that can scale horizontally over cloud Attributes
- Track record of building products in small, agile teams
Job Requirements
- Strong Software development background using Golang
- Strong experience with Linux or any variant
- Strong familiarity with micro-service architecture and RESTful APIs, Kafka, RPC, protobuffs
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores (Cassandra and PostGis), Parallel Processing and Big Data is a huge plus
- Ability to write production-level, modular/reusable code '
- Familiarity with testing frameworks
- Familiarity in cloud development/deployment
- Passion for computers and programming
- Self-motivated and self-dependant personality
- Fluent written and spoken English
