Job Description
- Monitor drivers to ensure a professional appearance and on time performance.
- Follow the safety, health and security measures to ensure the safety of transport, drivers and product.
- Direct activities related to dispatching, routing, or tracking transportation vehicles.
- Implement schedule or policy changes for transportation services.
- Monitor spending to ensure that expenses are consistent approved budgets.
- Analyze expenditures and other financial information to develop plans, polices, or budgets for increasing profits or improving services.
- Plan or implement energy saving changes to transportation services.
- Develop or implement plans to improve transportation services control to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of transportation services.
- Develops and maintenance outside vendor and services provider relationships.
- Analyzes trip delays and implements changes to process to save time.
- Monitors driver attendance, documents violations, prepares infraction notices.
- Responds to accidents and conducts accident investigations including all required reports.
