Job Description
We are looking for a candidate who is a confident communicator and possess excellent attention to detail as well as analytical and problem-solving skills. Candidate will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, supporting, developing and, in some cases, designing communication networks within an organization or between organizations. The goal is to ensure the integrity of high availability network infrastructure to provide maximum performance for their users. Users may be staff, clients, customers and suppliers. Networks will include a computer; voice; firewall. You will also be responsible for the integration of the mobile application elements built by your co-workers into the application.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establishing the networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting and enforcing system standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- The design and implementation of new solutions and improving resilience of the current environment
- Securing network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access. Including The support and administration of firewall environments in line with it security policy
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize efficiency
- Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations
- The configuration of routeing and switching equipment, and configuration of hosted IP voice services.
- Capacity management and audit of IP addressing and hosted devices within data centres
- Liaising with project management teams, third-line engineers and service desk engineers on a regular basis.
- Remote troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installation
- Maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization
- Undertaking data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments, using information from multiple sources
Job Requirements
- BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject is important
- 5 to 7 years of software development experience in iOS
- Experience with 4-tiers systems is a must
- Proven working experience in network management
- Working experience in virtualized and cloud cloud-basedrks
- Excellent command of English in writing, speaking, and reading, with experience in technical writing
- Very good command of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
- Experience in writing technical and non-technical documentations
- Knowledge of the new trends in computing
- Deep understanding of Information Security and Encryption
- Self-motivated and continuous learner and ability to work under stress
- experience in operating networks in virtualized environments using Microsoft Azure and AWS
- An up-to-date knowledge and understanding of your employer's business and industry needs, as well as the technical demands;
- To recognize the importance of customer focus and/or of serving the needs of the end user.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate with staff who are not technically trained;
