Job Description
- Shall be directly responsible for all site activities supervision at construction site in interaction with the Project Manager& contractors
- Manage site piling issues and ensure the day to day operational control of contracts carried out to the correct work procedures
- Liaise with site teams to ensure that piling run efficiently focusing on, safety, quality, and productivity and cost control
- Carry out resource planning
- Report to the Project Manager on day to day basis regarding the progress of works
- Will also be the Project Management’s officer on field and liaise with contractor and client’s field executive engineers and other staff, in terms of getting any required approvals.
- Review and audit all contractors’ quantities surveying and any arises changes requests.
- Apply Project Management principles in carrying out assigned tasks and accomplish project deliverables to the required standard in a timely manner
- Must be able to manage own time effectively and priorities tasks.
- Strictly adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) and OH&S procedures.
- Any job related task assigned by management
Job Requirements
- BSc. in Civil Engineering
- Very Good understanding with a substantial experience of Piling techniques
- 7 years’ proven previous heavy construction site experience – ideally within the CFA piling and foundations sector
- Project engineers with previous consultancy background is ideal for the post
- Very Good communication skills and understanding of written English.
- Familiar with P6 and skilled in MS Office and aware of AutoCAD.
- Alexandria resident are preferable.
