Job Description
- Receive shipments and ensure both quality and quantity
- Trace, track and expedite purchase processes
- Create and maintain contact with vendors and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Interact with different third party logistics service providers to ensure get best service and rates
- Audit freight cost and documentation
- Ensure accuracy of all inventories
- Maintain communication with warehouse staff to ensure proper working order
- Review bills, invoices, COO’s, packing, B/L’s and purchase orders
- Ensure all payments are processed in time
- Assist customers with all inquiries
- Organize archive (files both manually and electronically)
- Monitor and facilitate repair orders
- Coordinate deliveries for repaired or returned items
- Ensure that the warehouse has sufficient space for incoming deliveries
- Dispose of unserviceable or damaged items
- Interact and follow up with customs broker in airport and different ports to ensure that shipments is released in the normal time
- Reconcile hand receipts
- Manage warehouse security related work such as preparing badges, passes and identification cards
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in import field.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Can manage all shipping activities LCL ( Less than container Load ) , FCL (Full container Load ), airfreight. FOB and CIF ( Import and Export) but import is preferable.
- should be Ex Freight forwarder.
- Technical expertise in using MS applications.
- Work experience in ERP systems is preferable.
- Should hold strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
- High Confidence and personal skills.
