- Deliver projects and products using the appropriate agile project management methodology, learning & iterating frequently
- Work with the Product Manager to define the roadmap for any given product and translate this into user stories
- Lead the collaborative, dynamic planning process – prioritizing the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team
- Matrix-managing a multidisciplinary team
- Ensure all products are built to an appropriate level of quality for the stage (alpha/beta/production)
- Actively participating in the Delivery Manager community, sharing and re-applying skills and knowledge and bringing in best practice.
Job Requirements
Software Development Manager is needed with the below Requirements :
- University graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science
- Minimum 6+ years of management/ leadership experience in a software development organization.
- Must have experience working through the design, development, and release cycle delivering software to market.
- Experience in multiple software development lifecycle phases, including scope and proposal, analysis, design, and software construction.
- Strong leadership, project management skills, time management, and problem solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Be able to excel in idea generation, evaluation, and prioritization, customer and partner engagement, cross-functional technical program management and building/ developing great engineering teams.
- Experience solving complex and large-scare software problems.
- A record successful delivery of software systems as an individual, team leader and or/development manager.
- An entrepreneurial spirit with strong product and program management skills.
- Software knowledge – IT service delivery managers are familiar with technology and computer software, and they’re extremely knowledgeable about the specific software that their company deals with
- Technical experience – IT service delivery managers typically have previous technical experience as well as prior experience managing technical teams
- Infrastructure development – IT service delivery managers have strong knowledge of the principles and processes of infrastructure development
- Familiarity with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library – IT service delivery managers are familiar with the processes and tasks described in the ITIL, which is a manual for IT service management
- Leadership – IT service delivery managers have the essential leadership skills to encourage teamwork and motivate employees
- Problem-solving skills – since they often face problems in their work, IT service delivery managers need strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot effectively
