Job Description

As a pivotal member of our IT team, you will lead the design, implementation, and management of our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring its high availability and optimal performance. This role involves:
- Infrastructure Management: Overseeing the configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of our network infrastructure, ensuring scalability and security.
- Cloud Integration: Developing strategies for integrating cloud services seamlessly into our existing IT framework.
- Security: Implementing robust security measures to safeguard our IT infrastructure against internal and external threats.
- Vendor Collaboration: Managing vendor relationships and contracts for procuring hardware, software, and services.
- Disaster Recovery: Developing and maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity plans, with regular testing and updates.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensuring our IT operations comply with relevant regulations and maintaining comprehensive documentation of all processes.
- Budget Management: Participating in the development and management of the IT infrastructure budget.
- Strategic Leadership: Setting the vision for the Infrastructure Services Section, driving innovation, and fostering a business-oriented culture.
- Global Collaboration: Working closely with global IT leadership to align local strategies with global standards, particularly focusing on the requirements in Egypt.
Job Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years in IT infrastructure management.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge in network architecture, data center management, virtualization technologies, and cloud platforms.
- Certifications: Relevant industry certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, or equivalent are preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English. Arabic is advantageous.
- Leadership and Management: Proven leadership skills with a commitment to continuous process improvement.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Project Management: Effective project management skills, with a readiness to travel as per project or service needs.
- Local Expertise: Experience in managing IT infrastructure for large-scale projects in Egypt, Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is highly desirable.
- Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with local Egypt regulations and international best practices in IT.
