Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop end-to-end testing strategies, plans and processes for releasing high quality software products. 
  • Build, expand and develop the quality team and guide the team members to execute test cases accurately. § Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development life cycle. § Act as a key point of contact for all quality aspects of releases. 
  • Help QC team to troubleshoot issues and report bugs and errors constructively to the development teams. § Design and develop testing frameworks and to optimize and scale our testing efforts. 
  • Drive test automation and define quality standards/metrics for projects. 
  • Manage QC team time efficiently while working on multiple projects.  Coaching & Technical guidance: 
  • Responsible for providing full coaching, technical guidance, and support for all the QC team members during the development lifecycle. 
  • Decide the tools that best fit implementing the business requirements. 

Quality: 

  • Assessing the quality of all the technical deliverables. 
  • Steering the team into focusing on creating a highly quality applications. 
  • Communicates and enforces QC standards. 
  • Ensure all implemented features are tested as planned.  

Technical Estimate: 

  • Responsible for all technical estimates from the project’s early phases till end of the project. 
  • Contribute to estimating the high-level-requirements during RFPs. 

Innovation: 

  • Suggest, plan and implement new ideas and software improvements. 
  • Encourage team to innovate and comes with new ideas. 
  • Assess team ideas and provide constructive feedback and guidelines. 

General:  

  • Good listener, listen and ask questions to understand the business needs. 
  • Flexible to adapt with unplanned changes in timelines, business requirements, quality standard or any other activity that might threat the overall delivery. 
  • Show a can-do attitude, and believe in challenging and developing ourselves. 
  • Co-operate with other team members to achieve business targets. 
  • High dedication with putting the business first and ability to set the right priority for the benefit of our business.  
  • Constantly motivate and encourage team to give their best, especially during the time when they are pressurized with high targets.  

Job Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in software testing.
