Job Description
- Find new ideas for product development and distinguish it from other competing products to meet customer need.
- Confirm each ingredient safe and effective percent to be used (preparing safety & efficacy studies for each ingredient used according to authorizes & scientific basics).
- Prepare market analysis according to agreed template.
- Analyze the Ingredients of each product in the market analysis and extract harmful effect of each ingredient.
- Discussing the suggested ideas, actives & formula details with the seniors before starting formulating.
- Documentation of all trails on Odoo system before lab work.
- Requesting enough raw materials for daily use on weekly bases.
- Preparing formulation trials in the R&D lab according to GLP guidelines & R&D instructions.
- Do stability tests on the approved trials & document all the results to guarantee that the product will be stable.
- Sending samples from the final formula for the microbiology labs to insure the preservative efficacy.
- Create trail production sheets for all new products before production including 100% formula and detailed manufacturing process.
- Scale-up of new products in the factory (1-3 trials) while coordinating with production department.
- Prepare specifications sheets for all products contains the quality parameters of the product.
- Prepare product information file containing ingredients, main actives, uses and method of use.
- Prepare composition file contains full ingredients of the product to Fulfill Technical MOH requirements during registration process.
- Develop any current product to coup with available raw materials and needed stability.
- Gaining theoretical and technical knowledge by attending online and offline courses and webinars.
- Ensure the implementation of HSE regulation & GPL guidelines.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical studies (preferred), science, or biotechnology.
- At least 1 year in cosmetics and formulation is a must.
- Highly innovative, problem-solving ability, and working well within a team.
- Diploma in cosmetics or Master’s degree in pharmaceutics.
- Very good in the English language. (Speaking and Writing)
- Very Good user of Microsoft Office and the Odoo system. (is plus).
