Product Design Engineer (Research and Development)

Key Responsibilities:

• Component designer for new product development programs using additive manufacturing
• Support design process including initial estimation of design effort and drawing release milestones
• Create models and detailed drawings in solid-works
• Implement Design-to-Cost and Design-for-Manufacturing ideas
• Perform concurrent engineering with suppliers
• Document work by preparing engineering reports
• Support Additive Manufacturing products in production.
• Diagnose and address field issues as they relate to mechanical design with respect to additive manufacturing (tolerance stacks, processing drawing changes, etc.)
