Job Description
- Coordinate the pre-qualification of potential bidders and selection of bidders for tendering for selected contracts.
- Ensure conformed contracts are prepared timely, align with the proposal and agreed clarifications of the selected bidder, and coordinate approvals and signatures
- Drafting and managing contractual correspondences and performing risk analysis on the contracts.
- Ensure that the suppliers are in compliance with legal requirements, owner specifications and government regulations.
- Documenting contractual discussions, addressing contractual issues as they arise, monitoring and managing changes and Instructions to contractor
- Communicate all contractual issues to supervisor and seek guidance as required
- Coordinate contract close-out and ensure consistency across all contracts
- Participate in drafting new procedures, if required.
- Coordinate administration activities across all contracts to ensure consistency
- Monitor for any potential contractual issues and mitigate claims
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5-7 years of experience in the same field.
- Experience in drafting contracts to other companies and importers both locally and internationally within the Procurement Department.
- Post-graduate studies in the field of contracts and contract drafting is preferable.
