Job Description

Lead and manage process improvement initiatives across departments to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality.
Design, implement, and monitor KPIs that align with operational and strategic goals.
Analyze production data and processes to identify areas for cost savings and efficiency gains.
Plan and execute energy, water, and utility-saving projects, ensuring measurable and sustainable impact.
Collaborate with engineering, production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure process changes are aligned and well-integrated.
Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective/preventive actions where inefficiencies or losses are identified.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and employee involvement.
Prepare regular reports and presentations for management on progress, results, and opportunities.
Analyze process data to identify and eliminate bottlenecks, reduce scrap and rework, and drive sustainable improvements.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement through employee engagement, hands-on training, and structured problem-solving.
Review and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) ensure updates reflect actual material usage and process changes.
Lead training programs for operators, supervisors, and technicians to strengthen process knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and adherence to standards.
Support trials and commissioning of new materials, equipment, and process upgrades
Ensure compliance with applicable ISO standards and product-specific certifications (as EN standards)

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in process improvement or operational excellence, preferably in the glass industry.
Proven experience with KPI systems, lean manufacturing, and energy-saving initiatives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
Ability to manage cross-functional projects and drive measurable results.
Familiarity with ISO standards and manufacturing best practices.
