Job Description

Work directly with the superior for his department to help support and grow the sales output related to selected products by using product plans and analytical tools to mitigate threats, and utilize opportunities.

  • Analyze market intelligence reports to uncover threats, opportunities.
  • Analyze history of competitive brands, models to provide stakeholders with the necessary decisions.
  • Manages product line-up and study's current and future customer requirements and behavior usage.
  • Plan the life of the product, customer profile, pricing, promotions, spec change, killing a product and its replacement.
  • Select suitable specifications and features for current and future product lines.
  • Build products plans and participate in development process.
  • Present findings that describe product objectives, features, benefits and relevant information.
  • Manage event scheduling and activity management.
  • Submit timely project reporting.
  • Research, prospect and qualify new business opportunities utilizing internal and external reports.
  • Maintain timely, accurate and uniform documentation of all records.
  • Gather, organize and post all historic data related to product performance.
  • Prepare product knowledge material and conducts training and presentations to stakeholders.
  • Responsible for presenting data in charts, graphs, tables or other formats for stakeholder presentations.
  • Assist with strategic duties related to sales and marketing performance metrics.
  • Have a keen understanding of the SHATTA mission, vision and goals and the National Strategy, including key initiatives, quick wins and timelines.
  • Demonstrate a complete commitment to the goals and mission of SHATTA.
  • Represent SHATTA professionally at company and stakeholders' sponsored events.
  • Establish and maintain productive working relationships with SHATTA partners and stakeholders.
  • Perform other related duties, special projects and assignments as required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Decoration, Fine Arts, Applied Arts, Engineering, Marketing, Business or Economics or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience with roles requiring high level of attention to detail and customer oriented is highly regarded.
  • A genuine keenness and interest in new fabric technologies is preferred
  • Ability to study market trends and formulate strategies to market
  • 2-3 years of experience in an analytical role (ideal backgrounds include: a similar research and prospecting role in textile, fabrics, furniture and/or fashion, a data-based consulting role, or other data strategy type positions)
  • A self-starter who is passionate about uncovering opportunities, qualifying business and deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work with large dataset and summarize findings in a clear format
  • Combine creative and pragmatic use of insight and data with attention to detail
  • Strong mathematical skills to analyze reports including conversion rates, business won and lost and return on investment formulas
  • Proven experience successfully working on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software products, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and ability to quickly learn industry related software
  • English language fluency is a must, Chinese language fluency is a plus
  • Experience troubleshooting both hardware and software issues
  • Demonstrated ability to convey a sense of urgency, openness to new ideas, inclusion & diversity, integrity, customer focus, and respect.
