Job Description
Purpose:
Responsible for supporting the Case Study Center by conducting literature reviews, analyzing data, assisting in research design, and contributing to case study development. This role ensures the creation of high-quality, data-driven case studies for academic and instructional use.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough literature reviews and perform data analysis to gather and synthesize information on research topics.
- Assist in research design, creation, and testing of case studies, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data; identify key conclusions and suggest areas for future work.
- Present research findings to senior research staff, clients, and customers in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
- Catalog and organize research data for easy access, future reference, and further analysis.
- Write reports and present research findings in a clear and structured format.
- Manage and maintain databases, research tools, and materials used throughout the research process.
- Identify research needs, select appropriate study sites, and supervise case writing activities.
- Send detailed case descriptions to the Case Editor and obtain permission from the company to initiate the case study.
- Supervise case writing and ensure development of comprehensive teaching notes.
- Prepare case outlines, including lists of interviewees, interview guidelines, supporting documents, case drafts, and fact-checking.
- Use Case Library templates for non-disclosure agreements and other necessary documentation.
- Submit case drafts, revise based on feedback, and secure necessary authorizations and release forms.
- Finalize case studies and provide faculty with materials to teach 1-2 sessions.
- Submit revised case studies for publication and distribution through relevant academic platforms
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree or MBA, with experience working as a research assistant (1-2 years preferred).
- Degree in related discipline (e.g., Business Administration, Economics, Social Sciences).
- Previous experience in conducting research projects, including both quantitative and qualitative data analysis, is an advantage.
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with data management tools, research software, and case study databases.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
