Job Description
Ensures service is up to customers’ expectations. Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant and make final decisions on matters of importance to guest service.
- Achieves all qualitative standards in product, service, and hygiene.
- Ensures compliance of all menu items to recipes, product standards, and quality of
- Tastes the food on a daily basis to make sure it meets standards in terms of taste, freshness, portioning, presentation.
- Welcomes and greets customers and gives a parting
- Ensures customer.
- Personally abides by company philosophies, goals.
- Maintains personal hygiene and cleanliness of the restaurant
- Reports to duty at least 15 minutes before the start.
- Prepares weekly schedules and obtains the approval of the restaurant manager before making any decision.
- Follows opening, shift change, closing, set-up, and breakdown duties.
- Adheres to daily cleaning schedule or other duties assigned by the restaurant
- Adheres to all work rules, regulations, policies.
- Reports any problems that occur during the day to day work.
- Reports any maintenance or repair issues in the dining area to the
- Reports any accidents to the restaurant manager (e.g., burns, cuts, etc.).
- Assists the restaurant manager in screening and hiring bussers, counter clerks, cleaners, dispatchers.
- Places supply orders for every sub-department upon Restaurant Manager’s

Job Requirements
Three years of previous full service restaurant management experience
High school graduate or equivalent, some college desirable:
- Customer service
- Self-discipline, initiative, leadership ability and outgoing
- Strong interpersonal
- Open to feedback and to self-improvement
- Must be able to handle the pressures
- Pleasant, polite manner and a neat and clean appearance.
- Ability to motivate employees to work as a team to ensure that food and service
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks such as food, beverage and labor cost
