Job Description
- Prepare and analyze actual project costs versus estimated budgets
- Monitor material movement between warehouses and project sites and allocate them to respective cost items
- Record accounting entries related to site operational expenses
- Analyze cost variances and submit reports to management with reasons and recommendations
- Prepare periodic cost reports (weekly/monthly) for each project
- Review supplier and subcontractor invoices and ensure compliance with executed work
- Handle petty cash settlements and ensure proper reconciliation
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce – Accounting Department
- 1 to 3 years of practical experience in cost accounting, preferably in the contracting/construction sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (ERP system experience is a plus)
- Strong financial analysis skills, accuracy, and commitment
- Applicants must be residents of Cairo
