Define internal Health & Safety policies/strategies and develop HSE plans complying with company policies.
For each project, develop a Site Safety and Health Plan (SSHP) integrating specific HSE procedures and Emergency Response plan as per project requirements
Undertake HSE risk assessments to identify potential hazards/unsafe situations and develop measures to assure personnel safety.
Develop and conduct daily and monthly HSE inductions/Workshops and schedule as needed for all site personnel and new employees.
Participate in planning meetings to identify any health and safety concerns inherent in the operations daily workplan.
Promote incident prevention and ensure safety to site visitors and personnel on site at all times.
Conduct regular site/facility inspections to establish HSE presence and provide support
Ensure that preventative measures and mitigation plans are strictly adhered to
Ensure implementation of Site Safety and Health Plan (SSHP) including personal protection
Enforce compliance of company HSE policies and procedures, Site Safety and Health Plan including Emergency Response plan
Correct unsafe acts or conditions through the regular line of authority and exercise emergency authority by terminating all imminently dangerous operations immediately.
Check that all materials used, including those used by sub contractors, are compliant with technical and quality specifications.
Follow Fall Protection program, inspect all fall protection equipment and maintain inspection records.
Manage and control safety execution of the works/activities by subcontractors and verify the works and work procedure meet relevant HSE requirement and guideline.
Ensuring that equipment is installed correctly/safely
Ensure that stock and materials are deployed properly, off load/check all deliveries to relevant storage facilities, adhering at all times to operational needs with due regard for health, safety and security.
Supervise and manage all site based Health and Safety directives including cleanliness & tidiness of personnel, waste reduction, upkeep of site and facilities, use of personal protection equipment/wear,
Ensure full awareness by all site personnel of emergency response plan.
Directly responsible for the safety of all Erection teams
Maintain security of completed works, perimeter barriers, stored materials and plant, at all times during the project
Maintain accurate and up to date records for site attendance, site induction, tool box talks, weekly site records, site safety inspections, scaffold safety.
Monitor and update HSE logs and risks register and prepare applicable HSE reports as necessary.
Provide first aid facilities, ensuring there is a first aid area (kept clear), first aid stocks/ facilities are kept clear
Provide on site fatigue/heat stress monitoring for work-rest regimen recommendations.
Deploy on scene immediately, assist in emergency response and provide first aid treatment.
Perform detailed incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis, and prepare Investigation Reports
Keep photographic survey of all site operations and works and forward to management
Sc. in Engineering - Civil/Mechanical, Environmental/Health/Safety or equivalent.

Having experience to provide HSE related deliverables such as HSE Management Plan, Potential Risk Mitigation Plan, HSE Audit Plan/Procedure, Site Safety and Health Plan (SSHP) and Emergency Response Plan
Ability to evaluate PPE and ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE
